Jessica is founding member and artistic director of Theatre Delicatessen, for whom she has directed The Winter’s Tale (295 Regent Street) and curated the groundbreaking theatre festival Theatre Souk (Picton Place) which was described as “…a tremendous experience of innovative and experimental theatre.” in a five-star review from What’s On Stage.
Most recently Jessica curated Bush Bazaar, a three-week festival of new work from emerging theatre artists that took over the new Bush Theatre building in Shepherds Bush.
Jessica started her theatre directing career while studying at RADA and King’s College London where she won a distinction for her theses on Theatrical Space and Brechtian theatre techniques, which are still her main interests. Following this she made her professional directing debut with A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hampton Court Palace).
Jessica has also produced and directed a number of fringe productions including High Cost of Living (Theatre 503) and Our Country’s Good (Kingston Theatre).
Alongside her role at Theatre Delicatessen / CurvingRoad Ltd, Jessica works in television production, specialising in documentary making.
