Goodbye, Marylebone Gardens!
On Monday 29 September 2014, Theatre Delicatessen moved out of Marylebone Gardens. A huge thank you to everyone who made this building so special over the last few years – to the creators and performers of every show we’ve hosted, the thousands of artists who have rehearsed here, the bar staff and front of house teams, the incredible, generous volunteers, and most importantly the guests, visitors and audiences who have come out and found us, believed in us and supported our vision for what a rambling old disused office block could be.
Thank you. Now let’s do it all again in Farringdon.
What was it like?! Read on…
Theatre Delicatessen have opened their doors to a series of wonderful spaces at the former BBC London headquarters on Marylebone High Street, and are looking for creative individuals and companies to join our burgeoning community.
Ideal for rehearsals, showings, films or galleries, this rentable venue is available for any artistic project.
One of the aims of Theatre Delicatessen’s work is to support emerging artists and the wider creative community by opening up empty buildings for use as rehearsal rooms and working spaces.
This is why we try to keep the costs as low as possible but means we may ask you to give details of your work and activity so that we can ensure that we are meeting our charitable objectives in leasing space to you or your organisation.
With the support from Theatre Delicatessen’s Associate Artist Scheme, HalfCut and The Lab Collective have taken up curatorial residency to help tomorrow’s artists with this cheap and rustic venue.
